1 Kg. “Dorada” flour
400 gr. sugar
50 gr. cinnamon
5 drops Bergamote
½ unit grated orange
½ unit grated lemon
1 unit grated apple
1 tbsp. Anis (liquor)
5 eggs
150 ml. milk
10 ml. Sunflower oil
Leaves of a lemon tree
Preparation
- Mix all the dry ingredients and then add the liquids. Knead until the dough is uniform.
- When the dough is smooth, dip the leaves into the dough and then submerge them into the hot sunflower oil.
- As soon as they get a golden colour, take them out of the oil and let the oil drip off.
- Roll them in a sugar and cinnamon mixture.

This sweet is usually prepared during holidays, especially during Easter week.
